An EARLY FALL Couple's SESSION at the PHILADELPHIA museum of arts - CENTER CITY, PHILADELPHIa - BY EVELYNE LOURENCO

It's with LOVE that introduce to the blog two of my favorite people in the world, Mr. & Mrs. Carvalho. For 35 years of my life I had the honor of calling this man my brother. We grew together, moved countries together, learned a new language together, went to school together, and even after becoming adults and having started our own little families, bought houses on the same street. We live within walking distance from each other and get to see each other's families grow and flourish. He is my brother and also my friend, and I'm thankful for having him & my beautiful sister-in-law in my life.

Ever since they got engaged a few years back, I've been able to photograph them in different occasions every year and I mean, it's undeniable that the camera loves them as much as I do.

Fall is usually my busiest season for outdoor photography. The fall colors in Philadelphia usually start showing mid October-November, so before I got too overwhelmed with client sessions we planned to take a few photos to keep our annual tradition. This was their second fall session, but one of many times I've photographed them before. I've also photographed their wedding, their engagement and Christmas but this is my favorite session to date.

We headed to the Art Museum of Philadelphia because I knew of some spots that were NEW to me and our Brazilian community. I love finding different settings for my sessions and it's always fun to come to a place that has been photographed so many times and by so many people, but has many little crannies that weren't explored yet. The lush greens at the end of summer/ beginning of fall are absolutely gorgeous and I'm so happy to have gotten to take these. I can't wait for this year's session which we are already planning.
